Deadly Mold in Dog Food May Cause Liver Disease and Cancer

So, what types of dog food products are most prone to carry these dangerous mycotoxins? Grains that are often used as fillers including: corn, wheat and to some extent: barley and oats.

Our dogs are sicker than ever before. Fifty years ago dogs that ate table scraps enjoyed lifespans that many dogs eating retail store dog food will never enjoy.

And it is all unnecessary...we just need to be informed. The next time you pick up a product from a retail shelf do more than read the  front side promotion. Read the ingredients. The first ingredients are what the product/food is mostly made of.

If you see suspect ingeredients, put it back..try another or make a healthy food or treat at home. And it wouldn't hurt to tell the
retailer  that they are selling a potentially unhealthy and illness causing product.

When enough people do, and the junk stops selling, the manufacturers may start to clean up their act...maybe:)
